Join our youth advisory

The youth advisory is looking for you!

We are seeking youth, ages 12 to 29, to participate on our youth advisory board.

Through this role, you will meet with our committees bi-monthly, review the organization’s programs and services, participate in social and community events, and advocate for youth-focused interventions.

The youth advisory board member will work closely with Ifarada to support and guide the organization.

Youth are compensated for their time and participation on the council.

Upcoming initiatives and activities by the youth advisory committee members:

Youth Fun Day– scheduled 2-3 times per year to support youth engagement in the community. Our fun days have included: Ajax Trapped and Ajax Bowling Centre.

Tallawah youth conference– Join our team for a fun-filled youth conference day scheduled Friday, March 28, 2025. Registrations are open! Tallawah Youth Conference.

Mzee Film Project– An opportunity for youth to participate as a film ambassador and interview elders regarding their experiences.
