Keep readingOrientation to Services
Ifarada has an efficient and holistic process to orient individuals and families to counseling. To make a referral for counselling or any of our programs, you can either complete our Referral Form listed below or contact us by phone.
This initial referral process will ask you questions about your reasons for referral, the type of service that you are requesting, and some general contact information. Referrals for counselling are reviewed within 24-48 hours and a counsellor will contact you within the same time frame to complete an orientation to counselling.
The orientation to counselling is a continuation of the referral process, whereby the counsellor will ask questions to understand a little bit more about your situation, history, and preferences for counselling. This conversation will enable us to match you with the service and counselor that best aligns with your goals, preferences, and needs. You can expect to hear back about arranging your first counselling session after having this discussion.
Currently, we have programs starting from May to June and again during the summer. Counselling programs are always open and may have a short waiting time (1-2 weeks) depending on our counsellor availability.
